Founding Story

As a company that has provided digital content for over 10 years, Motionblue has been perfectly positioned to observe the trend in education shifting from traditional – using books and physical teachers – to digital. However, after noticing the existing problems in digital education for children, we began to conceive of an interface that would integrate the strengths of both digital and traditional forms of education. In 2015 with the support of the Korean government, we were able to do just that in the form of MOBLO. We dream of spreading the fun and scalability of digital content and the sensitivity of traditional education to children through MOBLO.

Company Description

MOBLO is a smart educational tool that was created with the mission “Always Fun” in order to foster in children creativity and intelligence fit for the fourth Industrial Revolution.

Fun: The tangible blocks interact with mobile content in a three-dimensional way, stimulating the curiosity of children and allowing them to learn eagerly and happily.

Useful: MOBLO offers useful learning content that improves real-world problem-solving from the creative to the computational in children aged 4 to 11.

Necessary: MOBLO is an ideal and essential tool for broadening our children’s horizons in this digital era.

The educational market is entering the digital world, in which children experience a variety of media content through their computers, smartphones, and tablets in their everyday lives. MOBLO will play a critical role in introducing young children to the digital educational world. This will give them an edge in both cognitive development and experience with digital interfacing. Blocks, as children’s favorite toy, have the advantage of improving creativity and spatial intelligence. The mobile platform, meanwhile, has the capability of delivering a variety of educational content. MOBLO (Mobile + block) synthesizes all of these strengths and creates an environment that fosters fun learning.

The main features of MOBLO, a tool that combines analog sensitivity and scalability with digital content, are as follows: as you build with the analog blocks, the shapes appear in 3D on the digital screen. Also, interaction with the digital device can light up the physical blocks, move figures, and turn on motor blocks, allowing users to familiarize themselves with the digital world. Through incorporation of these interactive elements, MOBLO will naturally train the computing mind, which is key in this digital era.

MOBLO, an interfacing product between blocks and digital devices, is a product with infinite possibilities.

As of June 2017, we have created 25 original storylines, 1,368 levels, and over 3,132 questions which can be used to create 1,600 sentences and endless stories. We are launching our own content tailor-made to help children grow and develop. By February 2018, we will have developed an additional 8 unique storylines.

Through collaboration with various educational companies, we will become a revolutionary educational platform for children.
